Bader Field is a big, old, airfield centrally located in Atlantic City. Lets see, its a huge plot of valuable land in one of the biggest gaming markets in the world. It is very underutilized and ripe for development. What could you do with that land? Build a childrens’ hospital, or maybe a new high school for AC. Or maybe a nice, big playground for the many underprivelaged kids living in the city? Nah, lets build a multi billion casino resort complex!
Thats the idea that many casino companies like Wynn Resorts and Penn National has for the property. As you can imagine, there will be much debate no matter what side of the argument you take for the best use of this land, or who would be the best developer. One thing is for certain though - if this gets developed into a casino complex then it will change the dynamics of AC gaming in a big, big way.
