Harrah’s Margaritaville Casino Hotel

Calling all Parrotheads, Harrah’s, along with singer Jimmy Buffett will develop Margaritaville Casino & Resort in Biloxi on the south side of U.S. Hwy. 90. Phase I will begin construction in summer 2008 with a budget of $700 million with a spring 2010 opening date. With additional expansions, total investment may reach more than $1 billion. Margaritaville will be built on the land formerly occupied by Grand Casino and Casino Magic.
The resort will feature:
- About 100,000 square feet of casino space and 66,000 square feet of meeting space
- A full-service spa
- A pool deck area with cabanas, a bar and tropical landscaping
- World-class hotel accommodations, with 420 new hotel rooms added to the 378 existing rooms that will be fully renovated from the Casino Magic property
- A state-of-the-art Margaritaville Restaurant that centers the property
- 250,000 square feet of retail shopping space
