Vegas | Elysium Properties gets creative to finance casino
Monday, April 21st, 2008Anyone following Las Vegas should know at this point that it is difficult to get financing to construct a new casino project, just ask the folks at Crown. I found an article about a casino company called Elysium Properties. They own 38.5 undisclosed acres of land on Las Vegas Boulevard, with the hope of building a $3.8 billion casino resort. Normal financing is all but impossible for new construction, so the company is getting creative. This is an interesting article for anyone interested in the finance aspects of casino development.
