St. Louis | Pinnacle’s Lumiere casino off to slow start

Pinnacle Entertainment just released its first quarter earnings which included the first full quarter results for its $500 million Lumiere Place casino complex that opened in December 2007.  The casino generated $47 million in revenue but actually ended up losing almost $1 million, which the company blamed on high staffing levels and start up costs.  (more…)
