US company interested in Phu Quoc Vietnam
Wednesday, March 26th, 2008US company LIZ has applied for a license to build a US$4.5 billion casino-cum-resort in Phu Quoc Island off the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang.
The Kien Giang Province People’s Committee has submitted the project to the Government for approval.
If LIZ is permitted to carry out the project, it will pour an additional US$4 billion into transportation infrastructure in the southwestern region and Phu Quoc Island .
It has also committed to expanding local coffers with non-refundable aid of $50 million (more…)
