Russia | Azov City

GlobalCasinoBoom.com | If you follow this business long enough, you realize one thing - it is a business for dreamers. Some dreams come true, but most dont.

In an attempt to control gambling, the Russian government plans to close down casinos throughout the country. However, they will allow gambling in four zones of the country, with the hope of transitioning its casino industry into more of a resort gaming industry.

One of these days I’ll get around to adding a Russia page to discuss this in more details, but the bottom line is at least two of the zones are in really crappy locations, one is in a so-so location at best, and in my opinion, the fourth zone (Kaliningrad) has got some real potential.

Now that Im done rambling, this post is about the so-so location, Krasnodar, and some recent announcements that this zone hope to build its own version of Las Vegas, Azov City.

I’ll provide a couple links for you to read through and also mention that a Macao casino operator was discussed in the press last month as a potential investor (read about it here).

Keep an open mind and I’ll let you decide if this dream is going to be fulfilled.
