The big headline grabbing project coming out of Spain over the past six months is the Gran Scala project (or Gran Escala) in Aragon. Gran Scala means “Grand Scale”, I believe, and when you see the details, you’ll know what I mean.
The plans are very aggressive and very expensive, but I have not seen any financing details so far so I dont know what to make of it. The development company looks to be a joint venture of some sort called International Leisure Development. Browse the website and keep your eyes on this one, because it is sure to make alot of headlines if it can make progress toward development.
